Franklin County Common Pleas Court Judge David Cain has ruled more than 43,000 signatures of Ohioans who support a statewide smoking ban in public places are invalid.

Smoker ban call for cars (The Mercury)
TASMANIA is a step closer to becoming the first state in Australia to ban smokers from lighting up in cars carrying children. The Department of Health and Human Services has released a discussion paper which recommends prohibiting smoking in any private vehicle when a child is present.
