Judge clears way for Omaha's smoking ban to take effect on Monday (Sioux City Journal)
OMAHA (AP) — A Douglas County judge refused Tuesday to stop Omaha's new smoking ban from taking effect next week. The city's partial smoking ban will go into effect on Monday after Douglas County District Judge John Hartigan rejected a bar owner's request for an injunction blocking the ban.
