Q: I just quit drinking, and I am seriously thinking about quitting smoking, too. I have told some people, and they think I am crazy to do this now. They said I should wait until I have been clean for a long time before I try to stop smoking.

Kernel Editorial: New UK smoking policy is too strict (The Kentucky Kernel)
It's perfectly reasonable that UK would want to protect nonsmoking faculty, staff and students from the secondhand smoke produced by those on campus who choose to smoke. So when someone wants to light up, policy mandates they go outside. Fair enough. But UK's new smoking regulations go too far to segregate smokers from the rest of the UK community.
