In the war on nicotine, the Hawaii Tobacco Quit Line is the war room. Calls in and follow-up calls going out are at an all-time high. It appears many people in Hawaii are trying to quit smoking.

OXFORD - U.S. District Court Judge Michael P. Mills has declined to stop enforcement of Tupelo's anti-smoking ordinance. In an opinion made public Friday, Mills said the need of the government to protect the public's health outweighs any individual rights to smoke in public.
