Quit-smoking classes get $421,586 in state funding (Akron Beacon Journal)
The Barberton Health District has received $421,586 from the state to fund quit-smoking classes throughout Summit County. The money is a portion of what Ohio received from the tobacco industry more than four years ago to settle lawsuits filed by several states.
