Smoking is something that many Americans still today. Despite all the knowledge there about how smoking causes cancer and other diseases, many Americans still smoke. Why? There are many different reasons, but it is also true that many smokers would like to be able to quit smoking. How quit?
Well, first, we must understand that you can quit. It is highly addictive and, of course, may have lost all power of will. But we must recognize the fact that you can stop smoking! That's the good news and the first step to quitting smoking. You must then decide how you want to quit. Some people can quit cold turkey while others find that almost impossible. There are many ways to quit smoking, so there is no single "right" way. Here are my suggestions for quitting.
You need to eat a healthy diet first. If you are eating foods rich in nutrients, then your body will have plenty of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients needed to combat the symptoms of withdrawal from cigarettes. A healthy diet includes whole, unprocessed grain products, high quality protein and fat from various sources. Coconut oil has many special features that help restore health general and in particular, can help someone suffering from withdrawals. You have to eat plenty of healthy fats like butter, olive oil and coconut oil. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Drink plenty of water. There should also steer clear of other addictive substances for a period of time, therefore to remove all toxins from your body. This includes chocolate, coffee, tea, soda, etc. Drink plenty of water and raw milk, if you have access to it.
After changing unhealthy eating habits, you should find a friend you can be accountable to. Tell them you're trying to quit smoking and make you accountable. It is almost always easier to stop addiction with the help of friends and / or family to do it alone. Another thing you can is taking extra anti-smoking to help relieve some symptoms.
