
Ex-smokers: Help to stop smoking?
I've been smoking for six years. I started smoking involvement on campus and now smoke about half a pack a day. I quit on the first of September. I would appreciate any advice on how you or someone you know gave up smoking forever! (I personally am not interested in patches, gum or prescription drugs.)
I find it easier weaning nicotine going cold turkey. Try setting a goal to quit next month. Week 1 = allow only 8 cigarettes per day a week 2 = allow only 6 cigarettes per day week 3 = allow only 4 cigarettes per day a week 4 = allow only 2 cigarettes per day a week 5 = replace cigarette smoking cessation with water cut ice with a straw. When you reach your goal, is also recommended its consumption to 8 glasses of water a day. I wish him the best with what ever you try. Good health to you.
