Will Ontario, Canada Ministry of the offer of free health aids to quit smoking?
I think the ministry is offering to exchange rate needles and methadone treatment for addicts. Is this same type of support offered to smokers who want to quit? Well, if a person is admitted, the doctor may order the NicoDerm patch. This cost is covered. while in the hospital at least. It's a start, so to speak. As to what the Government will provide discharge ai do not know. However, it would be more pro-active by the government if there was a service like this. This can also be perhaps a platform for use in the upcoming election period. If you want to ban smoking in all places, etc, then that should provide the support to help the smoker fascillitate this process. Hope this helps
