Why some people do Tight chest after smoking?
I have read people tightness in the chest after quitting, I same experience myself. Could this be a lung healing after years of hurt by smoking? Thank you!
I'm not sure what you mean by "tight". Is that wheezing and inability to move air or a feeling that it is tightening its belt around his chest. I'll go with wheezing however. After years of being exposed to smoke from mucus-secreting cells in their airways become more large (hypertrophy). When you reach a certain point there is no turning back. This is called chronic bronchitis. If you stop smoking your lungs at that time will not enlarge, but will not either. As much better as long as no mucous glands that secrete more irritated mucous membranes and less so you cough less. And wil also reduce inflammation. So, your airways can move more air and you'll realize you can be more active, out of breath. This is the ultimate "cure" as the lungs, it will. You will feel better by the fact that you are not eating poison (nicotine) and and you're getting better ventilation of the lungs. When I use the word poison I'm not exaggerating, it really is a powerful poison. The good thing about cigarettes is that quitting smoking will no longer chronic bronchitis developed in emphysema. Chronic bronchitis is bad enough, and that opens the door to all kinds of pneumonia, infections and other nasty things that do not need to know. Without However, emphysema is a murderer and a very bad death. I'm glad to hear he quit. You've added years and years in your life. God bless and stay healthy.
