quit smoking symptoms coughing
I quit smoking a week ago.?

I quit smoking about a week ago after the capture of some symptoms like those of combustion. (teeth hurt, wounded thought, sneezing, head and sinus congestion, etc..) Well, last five days now everything Evil is sinus pressure and sinus conjestion. I do not know if it is still non-smokers cough so hard it causes pain on the left side of my chest. It's like cough before to apply pressure to the chest and put the pain. I keep coughing Flem. Can you tell me a pack a day smoker for over 4 years. And about before as I was smoking 3 packs a week. If this is normal, how long will this last and why do I have pain in my chest with every cough?

When you have to put much tar and toxins in the lungs during the last 4 years, which has been damaging the lungs all the time. Now that your not smoking (which is great! Keep it up! Has new tires with Nicorette flavor if that helps!), your lungs are trying to clean themselves. Since they are not being exposed to smoke, are seizing the opportunity to promote the accumulation. This will make you feel bad and the pain is caused by the lungs working hard to clean. If it lasts for a week or two, you should consult a doctor. There may be ways make it less painful or ideas on how to help … Good luck!
