I am afraid of gaining weight when I quit smoking!?
I've been on Weight Watchers and a very low carb diet since February and I lost 58 pounds so far. I still have more weight to lose, but I'm happy with my progress so far! I promised everyone that once I reached a certain weight, I going to quit smoking and I reached the weight of yesterday. I really really want to quit, but I am SOO fear of gaining weight! I'm not worried about eating more as a replacement for CIGS b / c I can be very good. I worried about my metabolism slowing! Is it possible to stop smoking and have no weight? Is there anything I can do to prevent me from winning? Has anyone quit smoking before and not gain weight??
Yes, you can quit and not gain weight. I did. We filllip added an exercise to my program – nothing big and muscular – just a loop around the block a few times a day. In general (at least in principle) in the times when it is likely that smoking. As with me after the second cup of breakfast coffee. It's amazing how your body out and for a few minutes can overcome those cravings! At first I was circling the block of eight or ten times a day, but then gradually decreases. Now you can run if I want, because I have enough breath to do so, and I certainly did before. Anyway, the walk will keep your metabolism up, and reduce the craving for a cigarette. Stick with him – and congratulations on getting here.
